Staffing Solutions
for Your Industry

IT / Technology

The information technology revolution has had dramatic effects on jobs and the labor market. Many routine and manual tasks have been automated, replacing workers. By contrast, new technologies complement non-routine, cognitive, and social tasks, making work in such tasks more productive. We all know that change is the only constant. Regardless of your profession and designation, you must adapt to constant changes taking place at your workplace. You must learn new job skills throughout your work life to keep up with changes in the workplace, grow in your career, and boost career opportunities.

Banking, Finance, & Accounting

Although artificial intelligence made considerable leaps in the past several years, these advances have not damaged the growth of finance & accounting jobs. The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects 10% growth (faster than average) for accountants and auditors from 2016-2026. The growth is at least partially due to the complexity of the job, which includes many responsibilities that AI is unable to do—skills like making strategic business decisions and understanding a complex regulatory environment remain in high demand for accountancy.

Marketing & Sales

Numerous analysts have attested to the fast pace of digitization at companies: from developing new digital products and services and testing new business models to streamlining operations. That pace is unlikely to abate, as it has been demonstrated to drive both growth and profitability. Marketing leaders should therefore have an easier time, then, defending budgets and strategies and hiring, training in this environment.

Hospitality

Meanwhile, there has been a shift in society, partly due to changing values after the acute phase of the pandemic. While in 2020 and 2021, the popularity of staycations, hygiene protocols and contactless technologies - all now firmly embedded in the daily activities of hospitality businesses - has risen sharply, some new trends are emerging. In 2021 alone, the percentage of workers around the world that are permanently working remotely was expected to double. This means that hospitality venues are being used as make-shift offices for bleisure travelers, as well as locals seeking a change of work environment. This is a great opportunity for hotels and F&B venues to capitilize on the trend and adapt their offering to meet the needs and wants of this emerging segment; ample plug sockets, free high-speed WIFI and great coffee are good starting points.

Construction

Construction is one of the world’s largest industries. It employs approximately 17% of the world’s total employed population and makes up 6% of its GDP. The global construction industry is worth more than $7 trillion, meaning that it is one of the most potent industries globally. That being said, major geopolitical shifts are happening in the industry. On the one hand, China has spurred much growth for this industry in recent years with its spending on port construction, labor-intensive megaprojects, public housing projects, urban renewal programs, etc.
